Skill और vocational education पर NEP 2020 क्या कहती है

NEP 2020 का लक्ष्य है कि 2025 तक school और higher education के कम से कम आधे learners को vocational education का अनुभव मिले.
Vocational education को सभी school और higher education institutions में धीरे-धीरे (phases में) जोड़ा जाना है.
B.Voc. degree चलती रहेंगी, लेकिन बाकी सभी bachelor’s degree programmes के students को भी vocational courses मिलने चाहिए.
Undergraduate degree तीन या चार साल की हो सकती है, बीच में exit और certificate के options के साथ, और students के credits Academic Bank of Credit में जमा होते हैं.

UGC framework courses को कैसे बांटता है

UGC का Curriculum and Credit Framework for Undergraduate Programmes (CCFUP) courses को अलग-अलग categories में रखता है. Major और minor subjects के साथ, इन course types के लिए minimum credits तय हैं:

Credits और घंटे: एक credit में कितनी पढ़ाई?

UGC framework में lecture या tutorial का एक credit मतलब 15 हफ्ते के semester में हर हफ्ते एक घंटा — कुल 15 घंटे.

Practicum, lab या field work का एक credit मतलब हर हफ्ते दो घंटे — semester में कुल 30 घंटे.

यानी lecture और tutorial से पढ़ाया जाने वाला 4 credit का course एक semester में लगभग 60 घंटे का होता है. जिन courses में practicals हैं, उनके practical हिस्से का plan 30 घंटे वाले नियम से बनता है.

Details आपकी university तय करती है

UGC framework ढांचा देता है; हर university उसे अपनी scheme of studies में लागू करती है. Skill course किस semester में होगा, उसके कितने credits होंगे और assessment कैसे होगा — यह आपकी university और उसका Board of Studies तय करते हैं. कोई course जोड़ने से पहले अपनी university की मौजूदा scheme और approval process देख लें.

क्या syllabus आपकी university की scheme के SEC या VAC slot में fit होता है?
क्या यह modules में लिखा है, और credits, घंटे और learning outcomes साफ लिखे हैं?
क्या internal assessment और end-semester exam का बंटवारा तय है?
क्या हर student के लिए material है — textbook, notes या LMS content?
क्या आपके अपने शिक्षक इसे पढ़ा सकते हैं, और क्या faculty training मिलती है?
क्या यह practical है — hands-on tasks, projects या case studies के साथ — सिर्फ theory नहीं?

Skill Enhancement Course (SEC) क्या है?

UGC के Curriculum and Credit Framework for Undergraduate Programmes में SEC ऐसे courses हैं जो रोज़गार के मौके बढ़ाने के लिए practical skills, hands-on training और soft skills देते हैं. Framework में SEC के लिए कम से कम 9 credits तय हैं.

Value-Added Course (VAC) क्या है?

VAC framework में दिए गए common courses हैं — जैसे Understanding India, environmental education, digital और technological solutions, और health व wellness. इनके लिए 6–8 credits तय हैं.

4 credit का course कितने घंटे का होता है?

UGC framework में lecture या tutorial का एक credit 15 हफ्ते के semester में 15 घंटे का होता है, इसलिए lecture से पढ़ाया जाने वाला 4 credit का course लगभग 60 घंटे का होता है. Practical का हर credit 30 घंटे गिना जाता है.
